What should me and my brazillian boyfriend expect on our trip to brazil?

I’m an AA. In America we always grow up with this category of race. In Brazil (or so I’ve heard) no one really thinks of themselves as white,black (etc) but as brazilians. Anyways lol I’m going to brazil with my bf (who is Brazilian) to meet his family and, basically be a tourist. How will his family except me? In what would be the typical response of a Brazilian boy bringing home an AA girl to meet his family?
