What are the laws governing the importation of Automobiles into Brazil, and what are the tariffs applied?

I have sent two cars to Europe to friends of mine and I have friends in Brazil who would like to get a car that is of high statue in Brazil, but normal in the U.S. So basically I told them that I would ship one, but it is hard to find information on the subject. When I search for information all my results come back as the ethanol in the gasoline in Brazil.
